STUDIO FALAYE
STUDENT ENROLMENT AGREEMENT
This Student Enrolment Agreement (the “Agreement”) is made between STUDIO FALAYE — a subsidiary of La Maison Douillet Holding Company — having its principal office at 9, Adekola Alabi Street, off Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria (hereinafter referred to as “the Academy”), and the undersigned student (hereinafter referred to as “the Student”).
1. Purpose of the Agreement
This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which the Student enrols in the Afro-Modern Design Intensive or any other approved program of STUDIO FALAYE. It defines the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both parties throughout the period of study.
2. Admission and Enrolment
2.1 Admission is granted upon the Academy’s confirmation of the Student’s successful application and full compliance with entry requirements.
2.2 The Student agrees to provide accurate personal and academic information during registration.
2.3 The Academy reserves the right to verify information provided and to withdraw admission if any false or misleading data is discovered.
3. Tuition, Payment and Refund Policy
3.1 The tuition fee for the selected program shall be as communicated by the Academy and is payable in the mode and schedule stipulated at the time of admission.
3.2 All payments shall be made directly to the designated Academy account or authorised digital payment portal.
3.3 Refunds may be granted only under exceptional circumstances, such as withdrawal within a limited refund window prior to course commencement. Requests must be made in writing, and approved refunds (if any) may be subject to administrative deductions.
3.4 No refunds will be issued once the Student has attended or accessed any class, module, or digital resource beyond the first week of the program.
4. Delivery Mode and Attendance
4.1 The Academy operates a hybrid learning model, combining physical studio sessions and online learning modules.
4.2 The Student is required to attend and actively participate in all scheduled sessions, whether physical or virtual.
4.3 Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory for eligibility for certification.
4.4 In the event of unavoidable absence, the Student must notify the Academy in writing or via the official communication channel.
5. Student Conduct and Professional Behavior
5.1 Students are expected to maintain professionalism, respect, and decorum at all times within the Academy’s premises and online platforms.
5.2 Disruptive, discriminatory, or unethical behaviour will attract disciplinary action, including possible suspension or expulsion.
5.3 The Academy maintains a zero-tolerance policy on harassment, bullying, plagiarism, or intellectual dishonesty.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 All course materials, content, designs, and intellectual property shared by the Academy remain the sole property of STUDIO FALAYE and La Maison Douillet.
6.2 Students retain rights to their original creative works produced during the program but grant the Academy a non-exclusive right to display, reproduce, or reference such works for educational, promotional, and archival purposes.
6.3 Students are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or selling Academy materials or recordings without prior written consent.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 The Academy complies with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Personal data collected from the Student shall be used solely for academic, administrative, and communication purposes.
7.2 The Academy may use photographs or video recordings of students for documentation and publicity, provided such use respects the dignity of the individual.
8. Certification
Upon satisfactory completion of all program modules, assignments, and attendance requirements, the Student shall be awarded a Certificate of Completion endorsed by STUDIO FALAYE and La Maison Douillet.
9. Liability and Disclaimer
9.1 The Academy shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property occurring within or outside its premises during the course of study.
9.2 Students are responsible for ensuring their own safety during studio or field activities.
10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
10.1 In the event of any dispute arising from this Agreement, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation.
10.2 If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
10.3 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
