The Vision
For this project, we were invited to dream up a design proposal for a tech company in Uganda. The vision was to imagine a modern, multifunctional office that was as much about people and well-being as it was about work. The goal was to create an inspiring environment that could support everything from deep focus to playful, collaborative breaks.
In the fast-paced tech world, attracting and retaining top talent is key. The client knew that a forward-thinking office environment was a huge part of that. They wanted a design that would communicate their innovative company culture and show their employees they were valued, providing spaces that catered to a healthy and balanced work life.
The Narrative
Our creative proposal was a story of balance. We designed dedicated zones for every need: a welcoming reception, a dynamic co-working space, and a quiet conference room. But the heart of our vision was the open terrace. We imagined it as a vibrant social hub, a place for employees to recharge with a game of pool or foosball, relax in bean bags, and connect with each other. It was all about creating a workspace that supports a healthy, happy team.
The Experience
Even as a proposal, the client was incredibly impressed with the vision. They loved how the design blended functionality with a real sense of fun and comfort. They were particularly excited about the open terrace concept, seeing its potential to boost team morale and well-being. They felt our plans provided a clear, creative roadmap for building a modern workspace that top talent would love.
