La Maison Douillet was born from a simple idea – that African spaces can be world-class in style and comfort without losing their soul. Our founder, Femi Falaye, envisioned creating interiors that are more than just beautiful backdrops; he wanted them to reflect the people who live and work in them. What began as a small design studio in Lagos has grown into Nigeria’s fastest-growing interior design firm, carving a niche that transcends conventional boundaries of design. From day one, we set out to make great design accessible – not just a luxury for a select few, but a lifestyle for those who value quality and individuality. We started by taking on boutique residential projects, pouring our creativity into every living room and kitchen. As word spread, we attracted well-funded
startups and international companies seeking interiors that could inspire employees and impress clients. Femi Falaye
Chief Designer (Founder & CEO)
The creative force and visionary behind LMD, Femi has over a decade of experience in architecture and interior design. He launched LMD to fuse contemporary design with Nigeria’s rich artistic heritage.
Chisom Uche Falaye
Chief Stylist
Chisom is LMD’s style maven, responsible for the finishing touches that bring our designs to life. With a background in interior styling and décor, she has an innate talent for color, texture, and textiles.
Olabanji “Banji” Olakanmi
Design Architect
Banji is the technical backbone of our design process. A seasoned design architect, he translates creative concepts into workable plans and drawings. He works closely with Femi on space planning etc.
Michael Afonne
Site Manager
Michael leads our on-site crew and artisan team. With a background in construction management and fine arts, he brings a unique blend of precision and artistry to every project installation.
Rachael Popoola
Executive Assistant & Social Media Manager
Racheal is the organizational heartbeat of LMD and the voice of our brand online. As our Executive Assistant, she keeps our studio running smoothly, managing schedules and communications.
Damola Oyesomi
Content Curator
Damola is our visual storyteller, capturing the soul of each project from concept to completion. He translates our design journeys into the stunning photography and videography that fill our portfolio.
Olabowale Madashiru
Chief Carpenter
Olabowale is our master craftsman, the artisan who turns our bespoke furniture designs into tangible works of art. With years of experience and a deep passion for woodworking.
Victor Ogoabia
Project Manager
An architect by training and an organizer at heart, Victor ensures our projects run like clockwork. He oversees the day-to-day execution of designs, coordinating contractors, artisans, and deliveries with precision.
